V313 is the industry’s gold standard for certifying high-moisture-resistant engineered wood boards. In MDF HMR V313, "V313" refers to a specific, highly rigorous European testing standard (EN 321) that measures a board's ability to resist structural degradation, swelling, and bond failure under extreme, cyclic humidity and temperature changes.

1. Definition: The V313 Cyclic Test

To earn the V313 rating, sample boards are subjected to a brutal three-cycle stress test:

Water Immersion: Soaked in water at 20℃ for 24 hours.
Deep Freezing: Frozen at -12℃ to -18℃ for 24 hours.
High-Heat Drying: Dried in an oven at 70℃ for 70 hours.

This entire sequence is repeated continuously three times. After completion, the board's swelling, internal bond strength, and structural integrity are measured. Standard boards disintegrate during this test, whereas V313-certified boards retain their shape, strength, and edge tightness.
